Charlotte preferred black

“Charlotte preferred to wear black” is the Day One Floral of my 30 Days of Florals Collection. It centers around the movement of the word “Artful” in white, which you can still read most of. I wanted to try and create a piece with NO color, but I simply couldn’t and had to add some pops of color. The stuffy at the bottom seemed to tie it all together, and perhaps Charlotte felt more confident knowing it was there.

6 x 6 inches varnished cut recycled paper on wood panel with 1 and 1/2 inch deep black painted edges. Ready to hang.
