Goldie (SOLD)

$195.00

I found this amazing teal page in a National Geographic and it immediately made me think of the eucalyptus plant—so I set about cutting little leaves and once I had the three stems I couldn’t decide on a background, but it needed a bird. Goldie came to life quickly and with only a few pieces of paper. Her eye is so captivating.

6 x 6 inches varnished cut paper on natural wood panel with oak stained 1 and 1/2 inch edges.

*One of these photos was taken at night and one during the day so you can see the way the light changes the mood and color of the wood.
