I Remember

Soft peony petals and daffodils contrast with the steel gray vase. Cut from a children’s book about World War II, notice the Gestapo flower stems. I strived to create a scene of beautiful bounty but when you look closely its composed of broken down buildings, stray cats and trains. This true story is a spark of hope at a dark time.
